EAA Chapter 932/Youth Aviation Club

EAA Chapter 932 has partnered with Woodstock North High School to establish an after school aviation club for high school students. Through an ongoing curriculum of fun and educational activities we are encouraging and nurturing the students’ interest in aviation and aerospace technology. Our goal is to make aviation accessible to any student from 9th through 12th grade and to provide the financial and operational support they need to reach their personal or career oriented aviation goals.

The first of its kind, EAA President and CEO, Rod Hightower, is excited about this inspiring new development and believes “this may be a model of the future that can help us create the next generation of aviators.”

Club membership is open to all Woodstock North High School students and each member must meet the school's academic standards for school clubs to participate.

Fundraising

All of our Aviation Club activities are staffed by volunteers and our entire program is funded by generous donations. We receive no funding from the EAA.

We need financial support to provide the supplies for our practical projects such as building and flying model airplanes and rockets.

Donations are also welcomed from individuals and corporations to support scholarships designed to help young men and women earn their Private Pilot Certificates. The goal of this program, to sponsor and guide deserving young people to earn a private pilot license as a beginning step in their achievement in the field of aviation.
