Flyers & Tires 2002

Flyers & Tires 2002 was held the weekend of August 10 -11th.  This was
the third annual F&T event for Eaa932 and Galt Airport.   The weather cooperated perfectly and the crowd turnout was terrific.  

This year Galt Airport took on the role of major event organizer.  Eaa932 once again operated the concession tent serving burgers, brats, steak-sandwiches and beverages.  We provided planes, pilots and support crew to sell sightseeing rides and chapter members assisted in set-up, clean-up, flight line marshals and parking duty.  Thanks everyone for the great effort!

Flyers & Tires is a great weekend for the volunteers of Eaa932.  This is our biggest chapter fund raiser of the year, and we had excellent results once again.  Previous fund raising allowed us to sponsor our first ever youth scholarship contest, where we were able to send 4 area young people on an all expense paid trip to Oshkosh to attend the EAA Air Academy.  For more info on the contest and winners, click here to see the
